Our Story

ANU Counseling believes that the counseling profession should be informed by current neuroscience and research combined with effective modern and historic techniques and approaches. ANU therapists work to seamlessly integrate advanced knowledge, new techniques, and historically effective approaches to provide the most effective help possible. ​

 

ANU counseling also encourages supplemental activities to enhance well-being and is willing to suggest such resources as seems appropriate to each client. Wellness often requires supportive endeavors in addition to therapy and ANU counseling encourages yoga, exercise, dance, art, music, neurofeedback, couples and family counseling, medical treatment, spiritual pursuits, and other activities suited to help people thrive.
